Christine MartinChristine was the Web Whisperer for the Texas State Independent Living Council’s (SILC) four websites and Marketing Specialist. Beyond the focus of day-to-day maintenance, she designed graphic elements, wrote web content for search engine optimization, ensured that the SILCs social media content was accurate and relevant, as well as setting up e-commerce through PayPal for Texas SILC’s annual conference.  In her role, she was responsible for developing accessible interactive web-based tools for progressive online activism and community building. Her primary grant was Transportation Works. She has more than 18 years of experience in graphic design, marketing communications and publicity.

In addition, she manages the strategic communications planning and marketing activities.  Christine graduated from Northern Virginia, Magna Cum Laude with an Associates degree in Commercial Art and received her Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Organizational Communication from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
